transmission fluid on floor

I have a 2001 C5 convertible with 44k miles, I found a puddle (less than a 1/2 qt.) on the floor of the garage the day after I drove the car. I've looked under the car and see no drips from the trans or the lines. I started the car and let it run and there are no leaks. When I pulled the car out, where the oil had first hit the floor there was road dirt that had been washed off by the oil passing over something.
I've been online and found that there is no dip stick and to check the oil it must be up and remove the fill bolt, which I don't have the capability to do here. Is it OK to drive or should I get a flat bed to take it to a shop?

Cliff
