New guy picking up '74 LS4 convertible w/ hardtop

Hello enthusiasts! I wAs born in '66 and fell in puppy love with my neighbors '70 ish vette convertible with a big block. A bright green with black roof and sidepipes. Well, 40 years later and another neighbor(A different town) left the garage open and I spied a ragtop. What were the chances this was the dream car? It was, I stopped. She wouldn't let me drive it but popped the hood. Big Block LS4 1974. It sounded great. She was in love with it and so was I. I was driving my '82 cross fire that set me back thousands to restore. I gave her my number and 4 weeks ago she called. "I am ready to deal", she said. And man does she know this car. We have reached an agreement. It is all matching, one owner, garaged, with hardtop. Before you guys think I'm lucky, it needs rear bumper and many little things. After siphoning out 5 year old gas I changed out the fuel filter and lubricated as many cylinders as plugs I could get out. They were tough. I got four out. Delcos, properly gapped. Switched in a new battery, topped fluids, small amount of fresh gas, and starting fluid. Turned the key to a nice power draw and nothing. The starter turns when it wants. Soon running great. Up to the gas station she stalled but made it. Half a gas tank later she is fuel starved. Yes, a clogged fuel filter. I was dumb enuff to stir up the gas tank. I brought extra fuel filters and made it back. Brakes also need work.

Problems: starter issue
How to get sediment from gas tank
Rear 2 piece bumper

I am hoping to learn and then teach others on this site.

Thanks for listening
