New owner Pasadena Maryland
Well after years of Muscle cars, a Street Rod, a 2 Choppers, 2 Harley's, 2 Grand Nationals, several 4X4's and a smart car, I finally got around to buying my first Vette. A 2010 Velocity Yellow (didn't want anything too flashy) Base LT3 convertible. I put a lot of thought into this purchase. I no longer needed my wife's 2013 Equinox (I had been using it to transport her to Chemo and radiation for the last 6 years), and 2 weeks ago while laying in bed I thought " I want a Vette" I went online to the dealer I bought the Equinox from and found 3. Using the " Goldie Locks" method of selection, The Red was too hot, The Silver was too cold, but the Yellow was just right ;-). By morning I had 5 E-mails and a message on my answering machine. I made an appointment for 3pm and a strict budget of trading the Equinox and $10,000 cash. Well... One test drive, One Equinox and $19,100, later I was the proud owner of a Vette and a pretty extensive warranty. All of this by 7pm, Roughly 17 hours after deciding I wanted a Vette!
So, Now I'm planning to break her in (or break me in) by taking 5 weeks and driving from Maryland to Florida, around the Gulf of Mexico to Dallas Texas, to San Angelo Texas, to San Diego Ca., up to San Jose Ca. out to Bonneville, to Lawernce Kansas, then St. Louis, Bowling Green Ky. and back home. Probably put a little over 8000 miles on her. Well that's enough for now ;-)..
