New '57 owner-need work on hardtop

I recently acquired my father's '57 corvette, owned for 35 years. It was cosmetically not too bad, but needed much in the way of mechanical work. After a 6 month restoration, it looks and runs pretty good.
My question:
I have a hardtop for the 'vette, but it does not really fit the car. My father bought it after acquiring the car and had it refurbished, but I never actually saw it on the car. It looks really nice, but I have the feeling that it wasn't restored correctly. One of the rear bolt tabs appears to be in the wrong place. Is there someone close to San Diego that knows how to work on C1 hardtops?

thanks for any help
