1971 convertible

Front suspention:
camber is to limit at 1.5 pos
Question 1:
If the springs are original 71's by replacing them will I incress the height of the car and give me more adjustment on camber? Tires are worn on the inside.

Question 2:
Can I replace the springs with just a spring compressor and not have to remove any a arm pieces?

Question 3:
If 2 is NO. Then should I just lower the lower A arm enough to slid the springs in and out?

Question 4:
Is this a resonable DIY job in a home garage. Yes I'll have to have it realinged.
