New Member, first time Corvette owner, need help...

My name is Alyssa. I recently bought a 1977 corvette that is a project and daily driver. When I got her I had new valve cover gaskets put on, got a new alternator and windshield wiper motor, new belts and calipers, and I got an oil change and coolant flush. I was told that the engine was "Beautiful and a strong runner", which she was for a while, but then i noticed she started running a bit rough and there seemed to be coolant pooling up around the center bolt above my valve cover and below my carburator on the right hand side. I was bothered by it but was told by a couple people that it was probably blow back from my overflow or something that was apparently not serious or anything to be worried about. I decided to check the oil and it looked like it had been over filled. I checked it while it was cold, and it was about a half inch to an inch over the full line. then one day when I had gotten off work, I went to drive home and heard little pops coming from what I'm assuming was the carb, because they weren't loud enough to be a backfire, and they happened only twice while I was decelerating from 60mph to about 45mph and that was about the time I noticed her running rough. It happened again the next day, and after that I didn't hear it again, but a week later the headlights wouldn't come up when I turned on the headlights, but they do come up when I pull the manual override. I saw on here somebody else that had a 77 with vacuum issues concerning the blower under their dash and he had a pic of the spaghetti line that had been severed up by the engine firewall. I decided to go look at mine and saw that I had the same thing or at least similar, so I plugged the lines, and thought I'd see what happened in the morning, but while I was under the hood, I saw that what was once coolant pooling on that center bolt now appears to be oil, but when I parked her on Friday, it was still green coolant and she hasn't been driven since... Is there anyone out there that can please tell me what may be causing the leak, if I should be as panicked as I am right now, and what I can do to fix it? I've attached a couple photos of the spot I'm referring to. Thank you so much! I'm a newbie, so please forgive my ignorance and I'm sorry I'm all over the place with my description vs. what I'm asking.
