newbie here, clutch problem on my C6 grand sport

Hope you can help out, I have a 2010 C6 Grandsport convertible has only 2200 miles, took her out today and after driving with no issues for an hour stopped to get gas and when I got in touched the clutch petal and it fell to the floor and stayed there. Made it home by starting it in gear and some lucky breaks with stop lights. My question is if I clean out the fluid is there any chance the master cylinder with function again or do I need to replace it. How easy is it to replace, any body here done it, any how to video's. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like it's the slave cylinder; which is covered under warranty.

i have an 05 which had a similar problem under heavy load like the drag strip if i hooked up really good the clutch stays on the floor and makes it impossible to shift to 2nd apparently this has been an issue. i bought a kit from eklers auto parts for 70 bucks that actually attach to clutch pedal anf its pulls clutch back up so it wont stay down also the hydraulic fluid for the slave must be kept clean when i bought my vette it was black so i kept sucking out the fluid in the container drive for a day or 2 and sucked out again till it was clear.
this could be why your having an issue
