Unhappy My C6 doesn't start

Hi Community,

I am from Portugal living in the UK and last week I had an issue with my C6, where it didn't start.

I press the start/stop button and what happens is that: it does all the standard electric features, but simply doesn't give any sign for the ignition to start the engine.

It shows up on the dashboard the light of engine malfunction, but after calling my insurance and sent RAC they couldn't do anything as well because they don't have the diagnostic for Corvette (not surprised).

I thought it could be the alternator, but after RAC & recovery plug their battery supply, it didn't do anything.

All this started when I put my C6 at American Car Center where they told me I had a problem on the poli and charged me loads of money to fix it together with the IVA electrical conversion was not done properly. I am wondering if it is the starting engine itself or any other issue?

Could you guys give me a tip or let me know who haves the diagnostic software for the Corvette's?

Unfortunately, I can't add the video for you guys to have a better idea what I'm talking about, but I hope you can understand what is my situation here.

Thank you to all and have a nice summer ride.

Luigi

Do you have a standard volt meter? Could be your battery and it lost a cell, or something along those lines, so it doesn't have the cold cranking amps to power the starter but still powers your accessories.
