Grand sports don't have to cost 100k.

Ok, my opinion is this: Z06 is a fixed roof. If you want removeable roof, go with coupe. However, Buy a coupe, have a super-charger put on it for about $10-$12K and you will be running about the same as the ZO6 but with about a $10K savings in money. Plus insurance on the ZO6 is higher because of the HP, but a super-charged Coupe will still be more cost effective to insure.

I really like your idea I do want a targa top and Z06's don't have that. I think you made up my mind thank you.

I am no expert, but I think Grand Sports are only available the last year of production of a generation. Meaning 2010 model is the end of the line of the C6. Just like the 1996 Grand Sport was the end of the line of the C4 generation. I believe the 2004 La Mans is the "Grand Sport" of the C5 generation.

if i will be asked, i'll go with Z06, yeah you're right, it has more power and looks nicer.
