map lights and courtesy lights wont go out

Hello everyone, I have a 07 Z06 and I got out of the car and shut the door, was taking a friend a ride and when we both got in and shut ours doors the map lights and floor courtesy lights stayed on. I tried turning car off, and pushing in the dimmer control knob and nothing would make the lights go out. I ended up just taking the fuse out to drive home with. Anyone have any clue where I can start to track down this problem ? Thanks in advance for any info on this !!!!

I So far I'm not a very happy corvette owner but I'm not giving up yet since I was raised to be a chevy man !!!
