want to upgrade wires & Plugs for 93 LT1

Looking for ideas on Best plugs and wires for my 93 LT1.
like most of us want best at cheap price but will pay reasonable price for the right stuff.
Like to improve power & mileage but not risk harming engine with to hot a plug.
Any help appreciated. JDR

I have no experience with them but a mechanic friend said I should get Taylor brand. I looked at all the different types Summit sells and couldn't decide which was best for my ride, didn't want to wait anyway. So I went local and bought a set of Accel 8mm wires. I detest having to make my own ends but they turned out nice.

Plugs, I went with A/C Platinum recommended by the manufacturer because I don't want to have to change them again, the starboard side was a real test of patience. Also make sure you know whether or not you have aluminum heads so you don't have to make a second trip to the store and wait while they "have them shipped in from their warehouse".

Mine's a L98 but I'm guessing the LT-1s will be the same arrangement, not a pleasant job at all. Took me 11 hrs to change plugs, cap, rotor and wires, with two busted knuckles and an extremely painful bruised rib from leaning against the tire and tugging.

You will also need to remove the fender well panel on the starboard side or there's no way to get to those plugs. If you have aluminum heads remove the wires from the plugs in the afternoon and spray the plugs with PB Blaster, let sit overnight. DO NOT try to remove plugs from hot aluminum heads !!!

Enjoy !!!
