What problems does a corvette class c5 have?

i am looking into getting a corvette class c5 somewhere between the years 1999-2002 and i was wondering what kind of common mechanical problems they have. to all you corvette owners out there what parts have you had to replace or what kind of maintenance have you had to get done for your corvette? could you give me a ball park figure for the cost of keeping a corvette in good running condition each year? thanks i would really appreciate it . P.s. could you also leave the year and model type of your corvette for me thanks again.

I believe most problems are related to lack of maintenance along with repairs made by people not well versed in these vehicles!

Just read through the forum's stickies and you will see some common issues.

Buy it cheap and spend the rest repairing it or find a low milage that cost more and probably little or no repairs.

Just my perspective 😀
