cam ,valve train noise

I have an 04 ls-1 that i had cammed, exhaust ,headers cat back system ,and tuned. From day one the engine sounds loud like valve train noise I questioned them about it and they say tha'ts normal for those motors, and they are a very reputable shop here in DFW tx.I have over time heard other ls-1 motors not so loud actually some of them kinda quite and was wondering if there is anything i could do or just live with it.They used a special grind comp cam and matching springs the cam specs are .232/236 @.050 ,lift is .595/.601 on a 114 LSA. I really like the work can't stand the noise any input or a fix would be great or recommendations would greatly be appreciated ,thanks

Does the noise change with increased RPM???

Is it mostly at cold idle????

What oil do you use and how much?

A little noise at idle is expected for a setup like that. IMO

Best thing to do would be to take a video of it with a decent cellphone, upload it to youtube...Then link it here.
