c5 sunvisor mirror repair

I have read and tried several methods to reattach the vanity mirror but none of them seemed stable enough to hold mirror on for any length of time. I did use the tie wraps on the top of mirror but the bottom of the mirror is where the most stress is and Velcro and double sided tape didn't seem to work very well. I drilled two small holes on each bottom side of mirror and used small screws to attach mirror to sunvisor. Don't use screws to long so they don't protrude all the way through mirror and visor material. Very sturdy fix and when vanity is closed you don't see the screw head, you can use a small paint brush and black paint the screw heads to blend with visor if the shiney screw heads bother you. I did remove the visor for this repair. I hope this helps anyone trying to reattach their visor mirror.

I'm trying to replace the sunvisor on the drivers side but can't figure out how to get the old 1 off the car. Looking at the old 1 in the car and the new 1 in my hand, looks like the drum looking thing should turn a little some how.
