2014 Corvette Engine Revealed, Turbo Rumor Debunked

More information on the upcoming C7 Corvette emerged early this morning from a press conference in Detroit set to discuss the car’s all-new LT1 engine.
Chevrolet’s next Corvette will officially come with a 6.2-liter small block LT1 V8 making more than 450 hp and 450 lb-ft of torque with an expected 26 mpg on the highway. Those gains will come through cylinder deactivation along with direct injection and variable valve timing.
