hey guys, i want to get a corvette. i dont know all that much about them so im hear for some help. i have had my heart set on a c5 ZO6. but i have recently been looking at the c6 2005. not the zo6 although if i could afford one i would get that in a heart beat. but anyways a c5 zo6 and a c6 are roughly in the same price range im looking at. but which is better?

each Have 400hp. but doesn't the c6 have better handling? i think c6 also has better interior. but then again i love the looks and how wide the c5z is. and im iffy of the hatch of the c5.... i like the ''sportier'' look of the zo6. plus everywhere i turn there is a c6...unlike a c5zo6.

Looks are up to the beholder...can't help you there...

But I can help in the opinion of the performance. I drove a C5 Z extensively and now own a 2006 C-6 (Non Z). I wouldn't give up the C6 for the C5 Z anyday. About the only factor would be the auto tranny in the 2005 C6 is a 4 speed...if you are looking for a MN6 tranny though I'd go C6.

Really depends on you. Want to be different? Go with the C5Z. As you've obviously noticced, there's a C6 on every corner.

Ride and handeling? I guess it depends. Both can be made better with aftermarket parts. each handle well for thier design.

Unless I just wanted the newest out there, I'd go for the c5 Z and mod it to your liking.
