Why would my doors unlock when I turn on the lights? And they will not lock unlell I turn off the lights:mad:

I'll assume you have a C4...if so what year ? Lastly do you have any kind of aftermarket alarm system ?

Yew an 84 C4, I traced the problem to the wiper switch light, when unplugged it does not activate the locks. No aftermarket alarm. This car sat for years, mice chewed a bunch of wires. I have decided it is not worth fixing up, but parting out.
