I have the original console and it is showing significant pitting. I sent it to a restoration shop and they wanted $900.00 to do some repair and rechrome. I have two questions.
1.) Anyone know of a trustworthy plater that would be a bit more reasonable?
2.) If I have to buy a reproduction piece, what supplier has the best quality? ( I saw a couple of imported consoles and the quality was not good).

They have a few 65 consoles on there!! They are not going to be CHEAP!!! I will check on my end for one!! Tim c5garage
