Hello,
I have been a Corvette fan since I was a kid and finally at 43 bought a 2002 black Z06 with only 11,069 miles on it! I am thrilled. I don't take delivery on it until thursday, but then I get to drive it 250 miles back home! I'm looking forward to hangin on this forum and getting to know my Z06 from top to bottom...My history is motorcycles, specifically Indian Motorcycles and have been riding all my life...but, since I have to have a car sometimes, might as well be the best damn American sports car...and the 02 Z06 is a fine looking machine!
I'm one giddy dude right now, and will be more so driving home Thursday!:)

Thanks man..I'm am SO excited about picking up my Z06. I've got thursday slated as the day...the only unfortunate thing is chance of rain, not that the vette can handle it, just wanted to keep my baby clean!

This car is incredible...picked it up in Sand diego (240 miles form where I live) and drove it home...wow, talk about the best of all worlds. I pretty much took it ieasy on her...trying to get to know her, and so I pretty much cruised 73MPH all the way in 6th gear...Yes, I took it up to 105mph once for giggles, but mostly took it easy on her and here's what I think is incredible.
After 200 miles, I got 22mph...wow.
Also, it is a pretty comfortable ride, especially compared to the BMW Z4 that my buddy had that gave me a ride to Sand Diego...a much better ride, in fact.
Everything aobut this car is incredible, and I'm the happiest dude in the world right now!
