:):confused:hello from houston all...im new to this forum but im a veteran to digital corvettes. and i have a question for you guys.....well i just took out my latch to my pass door degreased and re lubed latch still does not keep door locked in lock position any suggestions....or should i just break down and buy a new latch.....and i have electronic door actuators also not sure if that will have an effect?!

For your question about the latch my friend had the same problem he had to replace it with new!! Again welcome aboard!! Tim c5garage

:eek:okay well i already orded the latch so thats good to know haha because my latch works sometimes and sometimes doesnt its crazy annoying ha so hopefully this new latch will sove the problem....only thing is ecklers doesnt open till the 1st of jan ahh

ohh ha yeah i order from there too, but theyre both not upen till like jan 1st or 2nd :(

Those latches are not fun to change out. But like most of the jobs on these old corvettes, a little patience goes a long way.
