I am new to the forum and hope this is the correct forum to post this question. I own a 2000 coupe with 52k miles. Just today on hard acceleration in 2nd gear it acted like it lost either spark or fuel at about 4000rpm. The engine was not fully warmed up but not cold. After it reached normal operating temp it did not do it again. This is the second time this has happened in as many days. Also. the outside temp had dropped to below 40 for the first time this year as well. Is this just a cold engine balking or some other more serious problem? I know that you cannot diagnois problems without hands on, but any thoughts would be appreciated.
