Bought a '84 with Targa top. Bolts were missing and I ordered bolts and retainers. The bolts fit but the retainers are a mystery. Where do they enter into this equation. They definitely wont pass over the bolts which is what I thought would the the process looking at a schmetic.
Can someone shed some light on this. The Targa Top isnt rattle free with just the bolts tightened.
