Back in June and over the 4th of July weekend on one of the educational channels I saw a show on how the corvette was made. How they hand build the engine and put their name on it. How the front breaks have 6 pistons & the back breaks have 3, and how the Z06 has kevlar fenders instead of fiberglass. And the host of the show had to pass a dust test before he could walk into the paint room, etc. It was an awesome video, but it did not occur to me until a couple weeks later that maybe I could get a copy of it. I went to the web sites of The Discovery Channel, History Channel, Science Channel and all the ones I could think of, but was unsuccessful in finding anything on the program. I wrote a letter to General Motors thinking they could help me. I had a guy call and he said that it must have been a third party video company and he didn't know anything about it. Didn't have a web address or company name and he was sorry he couldn't help me. His suggestion was for me to try the Corvette Forum. You would think in this day and age they would be a little concerned about who was walking around in the factory with a video camera; whoops getting away from My problem. My hope is somebody out here knows something about this video and can help me out.

Thank you,
Gary B. garyjune@q.com

The series is called Ultimate factory in Discovery HD channel and that one is the Corvette Z06 factory. They show it on rerun all the time. If you have an direct TV DVR you can search it and record it.

Thank you for your help but I found it later on National Geographic I called them & now have my very own copy of the show minus the commercials. I posted that on to my question as soon as I found it incase anyone else was looking for it.It was only 20.00 bucks well worth it. But I thank you sincerely for trying to help me with my problem you must love corvettes as much as I do AND you was the first as I remember to tell me where to find it. THANKS Gary
