Back in June and/or over the 4th of July weekend on one of the educational channels I saw a show on how the corvette was made. How they hand build the engine & put their name on it. How the front brakes have 6 pistons & the backs have 3 and how the Z06 has kevlar fenders instead of fibreglass. And the host of the show had to pass a dust test befor he could walk in to the paint room, etc. It was an awsome video, but it did not occur to me until a couple weeks that maybe I could get a copy of it. I went to the web sites of Discovery channel, History channel, Science channel and all the ones I could think of but have been unsucessful. I wrote a letter to General Motors thinking they could help me out. I had a guy call me & he said it must have been a third party video company & he didn't know anything about it. Didn't have a web address or a company name and he was sorry he couldn't help me. His suggestion was for me to try the Corvette Forum. You would think in this day & age they would be a little concerend about who is walking around the factory with a video camera; whoops getting away from my problem. My hope is some body out here knows about this video & can help me out.
