I'm looking to buy a new 2008 or 2009 LT1 Coupe. I noticed that many dealers still couldn't sell these cars even during the employee price incentive. I now noticed that GM ended the employee incentive but is offering 0% APR over 48 months. The economy isn't going to get better anytime soon, especially with the falling stock market and the buyout. If I wait a little bit more, do you think it's realistic to pick up a new 2008/2009 below 40k? I saw a few dealers asking 42-44k as the employee incentive and they still didn't sell.

I have an '06 DSOM coupe 3LT and I would love to trade it for an '08.

The Chevy website is now claiming $6983 average savings on an '08 coupe.

Just for information, my dealer in Henderson (NV) told me he would discount
approx. $6700 on an '08 coupe. Then I got an e-mail from the Internet
Sales Manager who said the savings would be 9k-10k on an '08 coupe.

If anyone is interested in low milage > pre-owned Vettes, check-out...

corvettepalace.com They are located in Austin, TX. I bought my '06 there,
sight un-seen, and had it shipped to Vegas...:D

Most of their '07 coupe's are a 3LT package with the Z-51 Performance Package option. I'm lookin' an one of their '07 Atomic Orange coupes now.
