mike c 09-30-2008, 12:48 AM I can't seem to clear up the plastic rear window of my 92 convertible. I have tried every product that I have seen. There is a yellowish plaque build up around the outside edges there are what looks like water spots throughout the window, along with some fine scratches. If anyone has an answer please let me know. I would also like to know of a place, near Connecticut, that will replace the window with glass. Thanks Mike Mountainrider 10-03-2008, 11:08 AM The yellowing is to deep into the plastic and thats why you can't get it out. It will be getting harder to and then it will crack. Glass is the best but not sure if it will fit when the top is down. oldranger1/75 11-14-2009, 01:49 AM The yellowing is oxidation. I use PlastiX on my 92; haven't had a problem since it has been garaged for its entire life. I also have an 80 MG with plastic windows. I used old fashioned turtle wax and a back and forth motion.
