Just curious as to why you want to replace it. My last car..a 1988 Formula 350 Firebird...I removed it and used the Accel plug kit from Summit. There were no problems with start up. I live in Canada (25 min. N. of Buffalo). I didnt run it in the winter but did start it up regularly. My son has the Formula now but he lives in Vancouver B.C. and has no start up problems when cold.
