I'm new at this, so please have patience.

I just bought a 1939 Chevy with what is supposed to be a Corvette motor. The Suffix Code appears to be "HC". Can anyone tell me what motor/trans/carb combination that translates too, or where I can find it?

Hi, I'm a member of the Forum in the U.S. and noticed this new forum, great congratulation. For C-2s, the suffix codes for 63 and 64 start with R or S, 65-67 so have H suffix codes but start with HE and then go up alphabetically ie HF, HG etc. Check that C again and see if it could be a different letter.
