The windows in my vette are stock and I would like to tint them. But I understand that tinting your windows messes with your radar detector. I have a Escort 8500 X50. My question is: how much tinting can I have done, without messing up my radar detector? Or do I have to live without tinting?

doesnt a radar detector point forward? as far as I know you cant tint the front window...its against the law so I wouldnt think it would be a problem

No they dont. Good radar detectors these days point forward and rearward or they would be almost useless.
