I wanted to start this thread in a “General Corvette” area, but there is none, so I guess I’ll have to do it in the C6 section.
How many out there are planning to participate in the National Corvette Caravan in 2009 (Sept 3-5) that ends at the National Corvette Museum.
For those that have not heard about it, this event is a kind of a reenactment of an event that occurred when the NCM opened some 14 years ago. I heard about the original event in the book All Corvettes Are Red. The passage in the book that described the final leg of the caravan on I 65 that staged in Nashville on one end and Louisville on the other, was just incredible. (Read the book, it is a great read anyway) Next years event will be the third Caravan.
Thousands of Corvettes from all over the USA will caravan to Bowling Green for the event for the gigantic party.
Right now I am scheduled to be out of the country at that time, but I am trying to change my schedule to attend this event.
