I have a question about my 2000 corvette . The PSI goes from 0-130 when I start the car up. The needle just stays there. I would like to know if this could damage my vette if so in what way? Or what could the problem be. It just started last night.
Thanks

Are you talking about your oil pressure? If so you have a bad sending unit ! Mabye a loose ground or a crimped with.

Yes, I`m talking about oil pressure, it reads 0 to 130 when I start up, and after it started up, it stays at 130, psi on display, and gauges inside car reads 80 psi.

That indicates a bad sensor. The sensor is located under the rear of the intake manifold and is a bear to get at as you have to remove the manifold. There is a mod where you can cut out an area above the sensor once you remove the windshield wipers and the cowling under them. The sensor is now accessible from the top with a large socket.
The only problem with the sensor is the fact that the new ones (aluminum) have a terrible life span. Some go out in a week or 2. The original is brass and I believe that the brass Buick sensor works with minot modification.
I will research it more and try to pics on relocation the sensor to the area neat the driver side injectors and the specific part numbers required.
