Hi i'm Killain and I have a 84 C-4 and a 2003 C5 50th. AE coupe. I just sold a 79 coupe which I restored completely from the ground up. Only thing I didn't replace was the body and the dashboard. So i know a lot about laying on concrete floors at night with a droplight. The 79 was abarn car, having been bought in New Jersey and sat from 1980 to 1995 when i bought it from the original owner. Safe to say car need everything from weatherstripping to valve cover gaskets but it was a perfect numbers matching 79 L-48 which i was able to win a NCRS second flight award with. A lot of work. I also had when I was younger a midnight blue with white coves 59 roadster, my first vette. Got drafted in 1969 and had to sell it.

Welcome to the the forum. Sound like you own, and have owned, some really nice car. I have a 35th aniversary and a C6 roadster, but I would like to own a C5 Coupe again. (maybe some day...)
