:D Not used to communicating on line, but wanted to get started. Just bought my first Vette, a new convertible. Waited 55 years, and am having a ball with it. Also would like some feed back on after market mods. Do the skid saver wheels and rocker panel protectors work? My driveway entry is steep enough that I scrape most of the time coming and going. The dealer says it is not a problem, but I guess I am not used to the sound.

I don’t know about the aftermarket stuff you are talking about, but I do know that by design the little bumpers underneath the front make a horrible noise when they make contact with the pavement. This is like a warning sound and NORMALLY does not result in any damage. What I would do to find out for sure though, is to just put your car up on a lift and take a look to see if there is any damage occurring.
