I have to say, after about 1k miles with the predator tune, I couldn't be happier. Withouth the CAGS I would have been happy however, when I stay off the gas, my MPG has increased quite a bit. I am averaging 24 MPG and can't believe that a 400 HP car can get such great mileage. Glad to be the first to post on this forum. Good Luck Corvette-Forum.

I've had good luck with Diablo Tuners as well. They really make a nice difference on automatic cars :)

Can you give me some specs as to what the tune did and how it affected your car. I have an automatic also and am looking at sending my ecu away for it to be customed tuned however if Diablo supplies a plug and play tuner I would like to go that route as the down time will be minimal if any.

Have you turned off or partially turned off the torque management setting?

If so, is there a huge increase in power?

i didn't turn off or mess with the torque management at all but i used the function to quicken the shift time. that was definitely noticeable.

Does it do anything for that great big lag on the automatics?I've had good luck with Diablo Tuners as well. They really make a nice difference on automatic cars :)

the predator gives you the ability to adjust the firmness or quickness of wot and partial throttle shifts. the throttle response was very noticable and sold my boss on the spot. my best buddy, my boss, and i all run predators on our vettes now. my best buddy had another brand's hand held tuner and the difference was noticeable right away, even the exhaust note. getting a proper dyno tune here in hawaii was just too expensive, and we are out of the country so often it was time prohibitive so these worked out great.
***now some food for thought***
plenty of really hi hp guys hate the hand held tuners. they claim they aren't worth it. and to be fair, for them they are right. they have the resources or access to a dyno, and more importantly, people who know how to use more powerful software (hp tuners, ls edit, etc). for the vast majority of use who just want a few more ponies, maybe a couple more mpg, and need to correct some minor things after a few mods (headers, intake, exhaust) hand helds are really great. the adjustability gives the ability and flexibilty to tweak my car as needed/required.
now that being said, diablosport is the subject of this thread and i think they are great but see if vinci, or hypertech, or another maker is right for you. diablosport just happened to be right for me.
