have a c5 and been putting regular in it for a couple of months and the way ive been driving cant really see a whole lot of difference--but can get 29 mpg driving 60 mph. is there any danger using reg?

Do your self a favor. . . . . .Spend the extra money and use Super Unleaded

i dont know if the time is set to where it doesnt clatter or whatever but cant notice any difference in gas milage or performance.---but as u said the additives and extra octane is gotta be better.

I was doing the same, but my c5 is not daily driver just fun. You will damage your engine. You don't hear any pinging, I didn't. But their are very high pitch pings that you don't hear that will harm the engine. Performance wise I didn't notice much of a difference. It was still a blast to drive.
