My 1991 Corvette has been to 3 dealers. I am on my 4th alternator and about my 10th or 12th battery. Does anyone have a suggestion as to what may be wrong?

i'm also experiencing the same thing with my vette, the only thing different is that im just on with my 3rd alternator and i guess 8 battery replacement. i would be glad if you guys could answer this one because it will not just help skater42 but as well as me. thanks a lot corvette forumers.
