Hi all, I just joined this forum after my first and last posts on a alternate very popular corvette site.
In a nut shell I had negotiated with a vendor who was not one of their sponsors to see if I could get a discount on a product. The vendor indicated if I could get 9 others or 10 in total he'd give a 15% discount. I ended up getting a nasty gram from "GRUMPY". Oh well there loss.
Background I've been around C1s for 25+ years and just recently received an NCRS Top Flight on my '58. It's a true "black"/silver cove car with power windows, power top, 270hp, and charcoal interior. My understanding is it was the first black '58 to be judged. It's one of the newest '58s around since it was built next to the last day of production.
In the past I had a '60 and used to drive my brother's '68. I also have a '69 Camaro and a '67 Chevelle. The vette and the camaro are original verses I just bought an L99 out of a 2010 Camaro and an 4L80E for the Chevelle. I've participated in team camaro and team chevelle which are sister sites to this one.
Anyway just wanted to introduce myself,
Ted
