I just changed my 1999 wheels for a set of 2003 with OEM tpms sensors installed. When Sam's club tried to flash the 2003 sensors the computer would not recognize them. Any ideas how I can get the 2003 sensors to work with my 1999 C-5 without going to a dealer?

The 2003 sensors are not compatible with the 99. You'll need to either use the sensors designed for 99 car or update the car to the 2003 style transmitter.
97-00 are the same, all 2001-04 are the same.
Of course the 97-00 are more expensive. :(

Thanks Blue92, sounds like I should just look for older sensors than trying to replace the PCM. I appreciate your help!

Does anyone know if I can just replace the transmitter (i understand it's located in the driver's side b pillar) and the 03 tpms sensors should register on the computer? Any idea where I can get one?

My understanding is you would have to replace the transmitter and the key fobs. The fobs run off the same transmitter.
Good new is that the newer fobs are also cheaper.

sells the entire kit but you might be able to pickup just the transmitter and fobs on your own.
