Hello.. I am new to this site and also a female.. but, I have a few ?'s to see if anyone can help me out. Last week I bought a new 09 corvette. I am wondering, on the audio jack for my ipod. When I plug in the ipod is doesn't respond unless I put light pressure on the plug in. Almost as if the plug isn't long enough but I bought exactly what the owners manual mentioned. When I put the light pressure on the plug going into the radio then the radio reads Aux.. which it should do that but I shouldn't have to push in on the plug and hold it as its playing.... Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong??
Also, my car is a 6sp manual. I noticed in the manual that the light should kick on to warn when the skipshift is engaging to keep the driver from shifting into 2nd and 3rd gear. However, so far I have not seen the light on and have not had any problems or feelings of the lockout occurring. Does the Z51 handling package have anything to do with this?? I'm just wondering why the light hasn't came on.. hoping to have no problems to deal with..lol:) well, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated... Tonya

well, I drove the car today and did alittle experimenting with the skip shift.. It is working correctly even though I don't like it.... I will be ordering a skip shift eliminator tomorrow.....:)

The aux plug in is not working but I will be taking it to the dealer on tuesday to let them see it..I'm thinking they'll be replacing it... Tonya
